How do I programmatically mark claims and claim references?

Important: This task can be performed only in a Microsoft® Word document.

1. Select Claims Wizard () from a PatentOptimizer™ menu or toolbar.
2. Select Mark Claim Numbers and References, and click OK.
3. When the tool has found the start of your claims section, click Yes in the displayed prompt.
4. When the tool has found a claim or claim reference, click Yes in the displayed prompt.

Tip:
Marking claims and claim references allows you to both verify numbering and automate renumbering in the event that you add, move, or remove claims.
