Exporting data from the IPlytics Platform is a crucial feature that enhances the usability and flexibility of the platform's analytics and search capabilities. This functionality allows users to save and share insights derived from their analyses, facilitating further examination and collaboration.
Exporting Graphs
In the Analytics section, users can export each graph, enabling them to capture visual representations of data trends and patterns. This is particularly useful for presentations, reports, or any scenario where visual data interpretation is required. By exporting graphs or data, users can seamlessly integrate these visuals into their documentation, ensuring that their findings are communicated effectively.
The analytic sections allows you to export the data of the graph, or to save the image:
Export Results Tables
Similarly, the Search Data view offers the ability to export result tables. This feature allows users to save detailed tables based on the specific information they have selected.
The platform's drag-and-drop functionality enables users to customize the fields included in the export table, ensuring that the exported data aligns with their research needs. Users can name their files and choose to save them in either Excel or CSV format, providing flexibility in how the data is utilized and shared.
In the 'Export Table' feature, you can select the columns of your choice:
Exporting Guidelines
We advise users to export the smallest data set possible in order to ensure that the export is successful, as exporting very large data sets has the potential, on occasion, to fail.
We advise smaller data sets, or larger exports broken down into smaller pieces during the export process. For further assistance, please contact support@lexisnexisip.com.
Export tips and tricks:
- Ideally the export should happen on SEP level, or even better, at document level. We also advise to avoid exporting SEPs at a family level.
- Split large fields across multiple exports
- If SEP Family Level is required, exporting only short/medium text fields at once (see notes below)
Summary
The export feature is designed to support a wide range of use cases, from detailed data analysis to high-level reporting. By allowing users to export both graphical and tabular data, the IPlytics Platform ensures that users can effectively leverage the insights gained from their research, whether for internal analysis, stakeholder presentations, or collaborative projects. This capability highlights the platform's commitment to providing comprehensive tools for navigating the complex landscape of patents and standards.
