Overview
The PatentSight Dataset now includes Firmographics (Add-On), otherwise known as Firmographics identifiers that help connect patent intelligence with broader business and financial datasets. Available as an optional add-on, this enhancement enables organizations to enrich patent data with valuable company-level context and create stronger links between intellectual property, ownership structures, and enterprise data ecosystems.
The new firmographic identifier dataset is refreshed weekly and is available for customers accessing PatentSight Dataset - Firmographics through Databricks or Delta Sharing (via a token).
What's New?
Customers can now access a comprehensive set of firmographic identifiers alongside the PatentSight Dataset, including:
- Financial Instrument Global Identifier (FIGI)
- Stock Ticker Symbols
- Legal Entity Identifiers (LEI)
- and CIK, CRD, JCN, UKCH, RSSD, EIN, and BIC.
These identifiers are mapped through Ultimate Owner relationships, making it easier to connect patent portfolios with corporate entities and ownership hierarchies.
This capability is available as an optional upsell to the existing PatentSight Dataset subscription.
